The Most Outstanding Booth Design Award

Tourism Malaysia won the Most Outstanding Booth Design Award in Beijing International Tourism Expo 2014. The Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) showcase of tourism destinations, attractions and travel-related goods and is one of the fastest growing in the industry, attaining a quality ranking in Asia, and becoming an important and influential platform for tourism networking and business transactions.

Best Booth Design Award at Taipei International Travel Fair 2014

Tourism Malaysia won the Best Booth Design Award for National Tourism Organisation (NTO) at the 22nd Taipei International Travel Fair (TITF). The design of Tourism Malaysia's booth was inspired by Istana Seri Menanti, also known as Istana Lama Seri Menanti, which is one of the most famous landmarks in the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. The booth was also decorated with photos highlighting various tourist destinations in the country and tourism products like shopping, theme parks, and Malaysian food.

Outstanding Contribution Award at Taipei Tourism Exposition 2014

Malaysia was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award at Taipei Tourism Exposition 2014 by Taipei International Travel Fair. That year Taipei ITF had 950 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions, with the number of booths reaching 1,450 and attracted 337,319 visitors and also featured in more than 4,000 domestic and international media reports, creating extensive business opportunities for exhibitors. Taipei ITF 2014 is organized by the Taiwan Visitors Association.

The Most Crowded Booth and 2nd Runner Up for Food Contest

Malaysia was awarded the Most Crowded Booth and 2nd Runner Up for Food Contest at the International Gastronomy Festival, Vietnam 2014. The International Gastronomy Festival is a biennial cultural event at the Hue Festival in Vietnam. The Asian food festival featured 70 stands offering food from South Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Myanmar and Malaysia.

The Most Impressive Booth

Malaysia was awarded the Most Impressive Booth at the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2014. This is an annual professional event organized by Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) and is the largest outbound travel mart in Vietnam. It housed 368 booths of 401 companies and organizations from 18 countries.

Malaysia was awarded Impressive Booth Design and Attractive Activities at the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2014. The 11th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival, themed “Impressive world heritages in Vietnam', draws the participation from nearly 40 tourism agencies, travel businesses from six Southeast Asian countries including Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and Singapore. Asia's Best Golf Destination

Malaysia was conferred Asia's Best Golf Destination 2014 at the World Golf Awards held at the Conrad Algarve Hotel, Portugal. At the same event, the Els Club Teluk Datai Langkawi as the World's Best New Golf Course. The World Golf Awards serves to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world class courses and golf destinations. World Golf Awards is part of World Travel Awards, currently celebrating its 22nd anniversaryas "the Oscars of the travel industry".

Most Popular Booth International Event at PTAA

The Golden City Gate 2014 in Germany is an international film and media contest for the tourism industry. The Awards ceremony is held every year at ITB Berlin, the world's leading travel trade show.

Best Organized Booth Award 2014

Tourism Malaysia's booth won the best organized booth at the event. This expo is the first international tourism exhibition in China to be built around the Silk Road, this event attracted numerous representatives from 32 countries and regions with 136 international buyers and 30,000 visitors.
